The latter costs £160 / $175 for 500GB or £320 / $350 for 2TB. Password change Tresorit offers a secure cloud service that allows individuals and businesses to store, sync, and share their files. End-to-end encryption and zero-knowledge service ensure that your confidential documents remain private. My big problem with OneDrive is that it complains about some of my filenames and won't sync them until I change them to meet their requirements. So, I'm only using their free plan until that changes. I only have a few things there right now. Bottom Line: For documents and photos it’s a good service, but the best experience is the one for business users.

A high-quality desktop app: Tresorit's Windows app is one of the best we've tried so far, with intuitive navigation and a variety of data management tools. Compared to E2E rivals SpiderOak and pCloud, this app feels the most complete, and it's arguably the most approachable one for non-technical users. The first time you open the app, you get a checklist of basic activities to familiarize yourself, and hovering your mouse over each step in a checklist item will highlight exactly where to click to advance to the next phase of a task. You'll soon understand how to add files and folders to your cloud storage, how to securely share links to those items, and how to sync the contents of your cloud with other devices.
The Verdict
Tresorit is built on top of Microsoft Azure cloud services, and as a result, can not synchronize files whose names are invalid under the Windows operating system, e.g. names containing these characters: / : * ? ” | What’s particularly unfortunate about Tresorit’s implementation, is that when copying in, say, hundreds of documents into your Tresorit folder, you’ll begin seeing Tresorit-triggered OS X notifications about any files that contain illegal characters in the filename, and can’t be synced. But then Tresorit provides no way to later identify all those files that are not syncing! I would prefer that the app modifies the filenames, making them legal, rather than copying them into the Tresorit file system, and then forcing me to later go hunt them all down!
Encrypted link error handling
For the same reason, you can’t preview or edit files in Tresorit, nor can you stream music or other media. For productivity, Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive are the best bets.
