It just stops, I don’t know – perhaps I’ve just reached the limit. TunnelBear explicitly does NOT collect, store or log the following data: Subscriptions: Subscribing on a monthly or yearly basis gets you unlimited data. Now that TunnelBear is owned by a giant American cybersecurity company, it’s difficult to tell what the future will hold. According to its website, TunnelBear is still being operated out of Canada, even though it is now owned by a US company. Second, in step 5, you say to enter your Tunnelbear account username/password after double-clicking the "TunnelBear United " file. Actually, when you double-click that file using the "stable" version of Tunnelblick, nothing will happen (unless some other program does something). The "beta" version of Tunnelblick will ask you for your computer admin username/password so it can install the configuration as a Tunnelblick VPN configuration. TunnelBear is a really nice service and works as advertised. Using any sort of VPN connection is slightly slower than a direct connection, but I barely noticed it. It’s a fantastic service.

I use TunnelBear since last 3 months, and extremely satisfied with its performance. I am an occasionally VPN user mostly needing web surfing and access to web sites blocked by my ISP & some websites that didn't allow access due to my geo-location. While TunnelBear excels at accessing the data I need, at good speeds (no slowness noticed), it also does so at a great price point (that's free). further, their twitter promo adds upto 1 GB monthly usage, which is perfect for occasional users.
