Once the download has completed, the file should open by itself and pop open a Finder window containing the Firefox application. Drag the Firefox Icon on top of the Applications folder in order to copy it there.

Firefox 38 doesn't allow as much customization as earlier versions of Firefox did. There are add-ons and extensions available; but, not necessarily the ones you want if you are wanting to bring back the buttons for previous/next and stop/reload. For my purposes, I do not need the buttons that Mozilla does offer in its toolbar customization menu.

There is another clever feature inside Firefox that clears out your extensions and themes, plus resets all the preferences to default, but keeps your personal information intact, including bookmarks, history, open tabs and windows, saved passwords, autofill info, and even cookies.
The Firefox port for OpenBSD is maintained by Landry Breuil since 2010. Firefox is regularly built for the current branch of the operating system, the latest versions are packaged for each -release and remain frozen until the next release. In 2017, Landry began hosting packages of newer Firefox versions for OpenBSD releases from 6.0 onwards, making them available to installations without the ports system.[167]
